Dear Friend,
Mark told me that there is another patient coming for DRS therapy on a schedule similar to how I have been doing it. I come to Corrective Care from near Toledo, OH, a 2 - 2 1/2 hour drive.
I was the first to try two treatments a day instead of the ten days in a row schedule. Although I could feel a difference after the first days of therapy, I continued to be pretty miserable and kept my crutches close by, "just in case." Remember, the doctor said you would know if it helps after the first ten visits - I was close to the magic number ten and wondering if I was to be a success story when there was a big change, and so much physical relief!
Yes, I am sore after treatments, but I feel so much better than I have in years(I was injured 12 years ago). I am still limiting my activities to try and give my back a chance to heal, but I am choosing my limitations, I'm not limited because I can't physically do what I want!
I am nearing the end of the DRS treatments...one of my "pain-in-the-back" buddies will start DRS therapy after the first of the month, and two others are considering it. They know me and know where I was - now they want what I've got! Don't get discouraged, and don't let your well-meaning friends put negative thoughts about this therapy in your head. YOU are the one who hurts, and YOU are the one to benefit from better health.
Wishing you a success story.
